Jade Plant

Mom’s huge jade plant needs some pruning, so I posted on a community Facebook board that free cuttings are available. We are all trading things, like plant cuttings and other items, in a safe, socially-distant manner.

It feels good to send pieces of this plant out into the world. No, no one know the story behind the plant: how old it is, who owned the mother plant, what her story was/is. That’s OK. What matters is that, so far, seven people enthusiastically want cuttings, and the mama plant (this is the one that used to have a brick in its pot to keep it upright!) has a lighter load.
