June/July 2023 Island Trip – Day 4

Today we:

• Figured out where Stella’s propane leak was originating from, hopefully.
• Planted a persimmon tree.
• Removed my dad’s water heater from the lower barn… It hasn’t been used in at least 15-years. It wasn’t difficult to remove, but was full of weird gloppy water that dribbled all over as we got it out of the barn. A lot of paper towels were sacrificed in cleaning up weird thick water… Metal recycle is its destination.
• Hung up the line trimmers on the wall of the lower barn, creating at least 20sqft of floor space.
• Sold my folks Weber kettle, and two pans to a sweet gal who I had Berkeley connections with. The Weber came with, among other things, a charcoal starter that my father manufactured. The buyer was humbled to receive it.
• Kept working on estate sale pricing.
• Visited with friends who live fairly close to us.
• And lots more… Always
