Being Selective

I’ve let go of, so far, three reunion souvenir publications of my parents. They didn’t attend any of these events. One, mom’s 40th high school reunion, had a picture of her from the Island, which I cut out and kept, but in the vast number of photos, there was no sign of her or dad. The next, Dad’s 50th high school reunion just listed him under his class, and finally his college 50-year reunion showed zero sign of him being there (he was too ill to have attended by then), but listed his contact info with one of my half-sister’s email addresses for a contact, rather than his email address. This actually annoyed me. I don’t know if his first wife, also an alum, put my sister up to this. I do know, that if dad had registered himself, he would have used his own contact info 🙄.
