Jammin’

Seven pounds of Italian Prune Plums.
Processed in the Cuisinart, with pectin and lemon juice added.
Heat.
17-cups of sugar (staggering!).
Combine sugar and boiling plums. Be very careful.
Stir at a rolling boil for 4-minutes. Again, be very careful.
Empty.
Full!

After most of two hours bringing this from start to finish, plus enough of the dishes to feel a little smug, I am sitting down listening to the lids give off their happy ‘plink’ sound as they seal.
