Sept/Oct 2023 Island Trip – Day 1

In brief, because the power administration our local power cooperative buys our power from is turning us (all the Islands) off in 6-minutes in order to upgrade 6 power poles on the mainland in hopes of more consistent power going forward. Reminds me of my childhood. It’s like a forced curfew, tho I do have my 12-volt lights… I’m going to bed at 10PM tonight and tomorrow, and I love it!

Tim and I had our fish kill and a lovely evening. He sent me home with groceries and threatened me with more on Thursday., before leaving on Friday.

Rolling in went well. No surprises. I may have found homes for 3 items remaining from the estate sale!!
