Sept/Oct 2023 Island Trip – Day 4

Stella was 49º when I woke up this morning. The little heater I’m using (two new ones arrive next week) has stopped oscillating, like it’s twin, and I think this ones thermostat is wonky. It’s time to bust out the oil heater.

I spent lovely time with my AM neighbor and his wife, and then another friend where I could just listen to their dialog about their life journey and educational path that brought them to the Island for most of four hours. It was relaxing, and that’s what I needed.

I also started working on quilt blocks from a ‘shop hop’ from 15 and 16-years ago. I likely have a couple of small quilts worth of blocks waiting to come together. Perfect trailer sewing!
