And it’s a Wrap!

Well, almost… The prep for Christmas will be finished after wrapping two more little things for the littlest ones, and bottling this year’s cordial! The cordial is absolutely wonderful. Without getting too purple in my prose… Its sweetness is perfectly tempered by the forward flavors of clove and cinnamon that linger, along with the plum, on the palate, and leave you eager for you next sip.

I am using the top of the toaster oven (set to 230º) to drive the last of the moisture out of the cordial bottles. If I’d been smart, I would have washed the bottles on Friday 😂.

All shipping to loved one’s went out last Monday. 99% of the wrapping is done, the tree is beautiful. The menu is coming together. The holiday feels smooth and serene.
