Shelf – II

A picture is worth a thousand words, so I will write less, and post pics 😏. My DH and I deftly, carefully maneuvered the behemoth into my study, maneuvered it upright without thwacking any lights (and taking advantage of the skylight recess). I am thrilled to have my mama’s bookcase in my office space. It is soul satisfying.

Settling in. There are doors, missing their glass, for the front of the case. I’ll clean them up and see how they install. It will mean moving books around, and that’s OK. As long as I’ve known this shelf, I’ve never seen the doors installed on it! It’ll be fun to reunite the two.
