Warming Trend…

It looks like we should be out of the low 30’s tomorrow. It is a weird thing to look forward to high 30’s… There were threats of freezing rain and snow at different times today, but none of it happened. Just light, and steady rain. The Island, on the other hand, is inundated with snow. The wildlife camera shows about 5”, and they say there’s more on the way.

Not only am I over the relentless cold, without measurable snow because if it’s gonna be this cold I want snow, I am also over feeling riveted to the weather posts. As much as I enjoy them, they (not their author) kinda jerk me around. Weather forecasting is a very sophisticated and inaccurate science. It’s gone from anticipatory and exciting to too many contingencies based on too many forecast models from around the world changing, or not, often 😂.

Ah, the fan on the wood stove just turned on. It’ll take the edge off the chill quickly 🌧️.
