March 2024 Island Trip – Day 6

A few days late…

Knowing I was coming right back, it was easy to scoot out. I left the fridge on with the remaining food, as well as my stash of art supplies that go back and forth with me, my camera and Stella’s Bible. The Bible is a 4” three ring binder with every piece of intel about all of Stella’s systems.

We are suppose to head back tomorrow, me my DH, the new trailer, and the cat. That my MIL is in the ER right now after falling and hitting her head is making this trip look more like a solo trip. We’re still waiting to hear from a nurse or doc.

Well, that just happened. Her CT and X-rays are clear. Bloodwork is OK, BP is a little high. They’re willing to send her home. We’ll head down in a few minutes to make that happen. To say this is stressful is an epic understatement.
