March 2024 II Island Trip – Day 7
My first post-Covid exposure antigen test was negative. With that news, I went to the drug store to pick up a couple more tests, vitamins in case I do end up needing to stay, and a 250-piece puzzle that fits on Stella’s pop-up table.
After lunch, catching up on the dishes, a little puzzle time, I took a 30-minute nap before my AN was here ready to get LJG into place. Using a front end loader to place a trailer into position is a novel way to go about what needed to happen, and I don’t think it could have been done safely any other way.

We got the electrical cord threaded through the bottom of the barn’s siding and the electrical connection will get tuned up later this week. I’m thrilled we don’t have to create an external electrical connection. After my AN headed home, I put away tools, placed two of LJG’s jacks, put most of my DH’s office items in LJG, raked out everywhere except the area directly to the west of the trailer, and seeded it with a rye grass blend. My back has grounded me for the evening…
The puzzle is finished, pistachios have been consumed, and my hand washed socks and undies are drying from the oven and drawer handles because the rain started again… It’s an eclectic, if not colorful look 😏.
