March 2024 II Island Trip – Day 8
LJG’s electrical is complete. We will have to manage/balance her internal loads carefully (make sure her heater and electric kettle aren’t on the same circuit for example) as she is hooked up to a 30 amp plug that’s run off a 20 amp circuit in the panel. ThankX dad!! 😂 We are good at juggling this sort of thing. The sewer connection is installed, and water is ready to hookup when we desire. What an accomplishment. I paid our AN immediately when he gave me his hours and materials costs.
I seeded the area to the west of LJG, and was able to send the landscape rake and seeder home with our AN.
We had 6-yards of 5/8th minus delivered yesterday to tune up the west drive and enhance the newly redone ‘road/turnaround’ to the north of LJG’s placement. You do not want to back down from Stella all the way to the west driveway in the dark… Much better to do a two point turn and head down head first… Our AN thinks this gravel spread will get done at the end of April as he and his wife are making plans to go adventuring in their motorhome for a month. Whenever he has the time to work on the drive is the right time!!
I’ll do my next antigen test tomorrow. If it’s negative, I’ll head home late tomorrow, or more likely early Thursday. The current info on incubation doesn’t help me make choices… 3.44 days is the current average for exposure to testing positive (that was 6:45 this morning if I round up to 3.5 days). But it can take up to 10-days to test positive after exposure! How do you make decisions for yourself and your family/loved ones/colleagues etc? I want precise answers about this, and I don’t get to have them. Hard as that is for me, it’s gonna have to do.
