May/June 2024 Island Trip – Day 5

After a relaxed start to the day, I ventured out to attend the Island’s Artists’ Studio open houses. Most of the studios have ‘guest’ artist showing their art along with the studio owner. I went to eight studios today, and probably saw 20 different artist. Most of what I saw was very inspiring, and many of the studios were in beautiful settings, which were stunning in their own right. Tomorrow I’ll visit another batch of studios.

I also joined the local art museum today. It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a long while, and given today’s theme, the timing felt perfect.

Our region is suppose to get hit by an atmospheric river tomorrow, and then be wet for three days. This put the kibosh on additional mowing until Wednesday afternoon, possibly Thursday. I have enough to do to keep me busy and out of trouble between now and then.
