May/June 2024 Island Trip – Days 10 & 11

Day 10:

I took a hard look at my task list the evening of day 9 and cut it down to things that had to be done. The apple trees had to be sprayed with BT, more laundry had to be done and hung to dry, the irrigation at the perennial beds had to be deployed, I had to put my feet up for an hour. Everything got done.

Day 11:

I made the earlier ferry. It took some hustle, but I managed to bring back a load of firewood as well as getting all the usual’s done.

Birdhouses my neighbor to the east gave me. Swallows will move in within a week.

Couple of primed walls in the lower barn. Ceiling next trip.
The evening sky never gets old.
