July 2024 Island Trip – Day 3

It was another toasty day. Among other things, I/we:

• Got the ceiling of the lower barn de-fuzzed, and a piece of the first of three bays primed.
• Took the push mower back and forth on its lowest setting in front of Stella so we could deploy the rug Tim bought us for Stella’s ‘front yard.’ This we did.
• We also deployed Stella’s front awning despite the instructions, and are still married 🤣!
• Our dinner with Tim was really nice. He is a fount of interesting stories, wisdom, and the ease of a good friend. Interesting thing… With the three of us sitting in front of Stella, the cat was willing to come outside on his leash! He explored as we passed the leash around. He then jumped into Tim’s lap 💕. It was a very sweet moment.
