Water
My tenants texted on Saturday morning to let me know they had almost no water pressure. After a lot of remote trouble shooting that including sending them on a mission to find running water, we discovered the pressure tank had no pressure. Pressure tanks do that sometimes.
The well company, whose techs both have Covid, got out today to find two hoses that feeds the timer, that waters the new apples, and filbert tree, had separated and one was dumping water on the ground. The well was dry. All 300’ of it. The tenant is suppose to send me a pic of the end of the hose. I am hoping for a burst or creature nibbled hose. I had moved the hose setup so I could mow, and then tested the drip irrigation for the trees. Everything was fine. The day I left, I had great water pressure. Whatever happened took place between Friday night and Saturday morning.

I am thankful for relaxed tenants, and having set by emergency water for flushing some time ago… They have assured me they are not stressed out by this, and can shower at his workplace. The well has been turned off at the breaker for a couple of days to allow it to refill. We’re going to put a ‘switch’ on the system so that if the pump oscillates, because the well is low or dry, the pump will turn itself off. Deep well pumps are not cheap…
