Four Days

I just spent four days in a row at my MIL’s, my DH with me the last two days. We got a shit load of stuff done, and I’m kinda wiped out in ways that surprise me.

I could go to bed right now, sans dinner, and likely not move for eight hours. I haven’t felt this kind of ‘tired,’ well, since yesterday, which included four hours of pressure washing… Yeah, not smart. It’s to a point where getting my words out the way my brain has them arranged is challenging. That’s a significant stress response when I get overwhelmed. Four days is a lot.

And then, we’re ready for the sale! Yes, there are a few things left to price, but it’s 99% done, and it looks as great as a moving sale can be. Photos to follow.

I spent some time, unnecessarily, vacuuming the shop as I consolidated things. It was something I could control. Yeah, I am kinda in control of getting the sale together and getting us through it, and yet until it’s over and done, I will ‘do’ even if it doesn’t need to be done. It’s a character flaw. I don’t have an idle. This also may be contributory to my exhaustion. 😏

I go back Tuesday to sprinkle sale signs around the town, bring in the garbage cans, and put a first of two coats of spackle on a bit of bathroom wall damage.

I see a trend shifting from Moving Sale to Rental Prep. Steps in the right direction.
