Clean
MIL’s house was professionally cleaned yesterday. There are still a number of things to finish, but none of them will keep me from getting the house on the rental market. I want to take a few mo’ bettah pictures, as my dad would have said… But that won’t stop me from posting the ad and the simple-stupid website.
While the housekeeper was wielding her magic, I spent some amount of time pondering numerous cleaning supplies under the kitchen sink and on the shelves by the washer and dryer. What needed to stay in the house? What ought to stay in the workshop (not a space that renters will have access to), and what can go? I put more in storage in the workshop than I anticipated. Severely edited under the kitchen sink… The rest will find a place pretty quick. The end result was far less stuff in the house.
I also spent time hauling fir frass off a fiberglass roof (from a step ladder for those who are keeping tabs 😂) over the back deck, washing interior windows, and organizing the workshop. There’s floor space in there now!
My next planned tripped is in a week to meet with vendors. Maybe potential tenants.
