Leased!

The couple and my DH signed the lease on Saturday. Tomorrow I return to the house to extract things at a granular level. Tea, paper plates, items from the workshop, the security camera, lamps, the boombox… All the things that we just don’t see anymore in the wake of all the bigger tasks, or things we had there for our own comfort.

Saturday we return again to remove some larger items, and basalt rock from the back garden. I’ve had my eye on that pile of rock for months 😁.

Yes, there’s helping folks about a ‘new to them’ house, but that’s easy compared to all the time that’s gone into getting the place to where last Saturday could happen. To say I am happy about this is a huge understatement!
