Done!

I think I can declare that I’m done with my MIL’s house. I met the movers at 10 this morning to get the washer/drier to Chloe’s, and the last two pieces of furniture to storage. After they left I took a swiffer to the kitchen floor and then where the w/d had been, but only after getting the impressive layer of dust picked up. There was a 10-year old ad for Cost Plus under the drier. Made me giggle. Gawd only knows what’s under our drier!!

It’s funny how the tenants’ things coming in (in fits and starts) is crossing over with MIL’s finally leaving. The way of things.

I put the swiffer away in the workshop, picked myself half a dozen un-opened daffodils, set the alarm and left. There’s a ‘too long for the truck metal pipe, and lots of basalt rock yet to deal with, but Not. By. Me!!! 

My latest quilt class (via zoom) is tomorrow morning, then thoughts turn to scooting out of here for a couple of weeks.
