March 2025 Island Trip – Day 13

A late night equals a slow start. We do this from time-to-time. Conversation overtakes idealism re bedtime…

After a late start we met an island guy who can digitize Anything! He and I met via FB when he was looking for a part-time admin person. We brought him some VHS, cassette, and Hi8 tapes to digitize. Also, a big stack of my dad’s negative sleeves in various sizes. It feels great to find someone who can use them.

We spent an hour and a half enjoying a tour of the lab and talking about geekdom.

We continued to lunch in town, a quick run through the grocery and then back to the property.

It’s been a quiet night with backgammon and soup. Kinda the definition of a day off!
