My Birthday!

And so yes, today is my birthday! My first desire was to sleep until I woke up on my own. This I did. Second was to spend time in the garden. Box checked! My DH got me two new pairs of Smart Wool socks. I LOVE these! When one gets to a certain age, shoes and socks become seriously important 🙃. He also got me a beautiful purple tie-dyed sweatshirt. I’ll be retiring the most decrepit of my collection with the addition of this one. Also a set of three laser cut and powder coated black cats for the garden. The cats are in different poses and look a lot like our cat 🐈‍⬛. I’m hoping our grandson and I can deploy them tomorrow 😁.

I heard from my girls and their sweethearts, my grandson, an old friend and many greetings via social media.

Veggies are roasting and the BBQ is heating up to cook some beautiful beef short ribs.

It’s been a good day. I pretty much only did things that I wanted to, and even walked away from something I didn’t want to do! 😂 Not gonna fold sheets today!
