June 2025 Island Trip – Day 9

After a hearty breakfast we set off on the Island Artists’ Open Studio Tour. Like last year, it was incredibly inspiring. Around 2pm we paused for take-out sushi, returned to the property for lunch, and then I headed out to take in three more studios. My DH stayed to take care of list items.. Things I can’t lift, saws I don’t want to run, chains I can’t haul… 💜. He’s heading back to our mainland home tomorrow and made sure I was well set in his absence 💕.

We had a nice dinner of roast veggies and a piece of flank steak. The cat, loving the smells, was insistent that he was being neglected in the food department… 😂 His vocal prowess is impressive.

Now James Taylor is being backed up by the 1000’s of frogs in the wetlands. Almost no better musical combo to conclude your day to.
