‘25/‘26 New Year’s Island Trip – Day 4

All the peeps showed up today…

• The propane fireplace folks took responsibility for the noisy fan, which cropped up after they serviced the unit. The fireplace wasn’t placed back perfectly ‘square’ into its space, causing the fan to make racket when it was running. This was an appointment I wanted to be present for rather than let Mrs. Tenant translate for me…
• Our neighbor, who purchased our AN property stopped by to chat about moving 4+ yards of 5/8ths minus gravel for me. At the same time,
• Our friend/general contractor showed up! It was good to introduce them. Duf and I went through the work in progress in the lower barn.

My DH and I moved two tall metal shelves from the lower to the upper barn, and filled the truck (DH did the vast majority of this task) with more firewood. He also installed a second security camera aimed at Stella.

We had a great birthday phone call with our Southern SIL. This was followed by returning a call to a childhood friend who is thinking hard enough about moving to the south that he and his wife are taking a trip there next month to scope out the scene.
