Mom called back last night, frantic over losing the neighbor’s phone number. This neighbor is planning on stopping by today for a visit. I tried to sooth her saying the worst thing that will happen is she won’t be able to talk to Terri before Terri actually arrives. Mom called again saying she’d gone next door, knocked several times, looked in the windows and found no one home. She asked if she could come over for a spell in just a while. I said sure, but to call before she headed over. She never did. I am assuming, given her usual strong desire to be social, that she forgot this intent too.
