Sounding Good

Mom has been sounding really good recently. Yes, she’s still repetitive and forgetful, but there’s a peace, contentedness and stability that I haven’t seen in a long time. I see this when she’s at her Island home, where she’s most familiar and connected to her and my father’s life together. This is expected, of course. She even did a freelance job recently. All good signs.
