Day One – Driving East

Our first day of the trip east went pretty well. Mom slept a lot of the drive. 70-80% of the time I’d glance at her, she was dozing if not flat out asleep.

We made good time to Post Falls, Idaho. She had a hard time tracking where we were going to stay, and ultimately, where we were. After falling asleep early, she woke suddenly asking where we were. I was watching yet another hysterical cat video on Facebook, told mom where we were, and showed her the rest of the video. We has a great laugh together, and she went back to sleep.

We’re up early, and are hitting the road no later than 9am. Hopefully earlier. Lunch is served at the Ranch at 12:30.
