Pesticides
In getting ready to install a new garbage disposal at mom’s mainland home, I found not one, but two squirt bottles of weed killer under her kitchen sink. This is something I tend to keep in the garage, far from the area where I prepare food. Of course, both bottles, while labeled with an indelible pen, were ‘hand mixed,’ meaning they were in inoccuous squirt bottles rather than a labeled manufacturer’s bottle. This is mom all over. She does this with over-the-counter meds too. I find aspirin in (labeled) film containers etc… I’ve mentioned, in prior posts, finding pesticides in her Island home’s kitchen. I will put the weed killer in the garage. Or maybe deploy it on the weeds. Come to think of it, given the prosperous dandelion population, I doubt she knows the weed killer is locked, loaded and ready to use!
