Another one bites the dust…
Just about a year ago I wrote a post about leaving my crazy non-profit job. Last week I received voicemail from someone wanting a garden consult. My returned call went to voicemail. In the outgoing message, the gal introduced herself by the same, very unique name, as the woman who took over my job! I left a message, and wondered if it could be the same person.
She called me back this morning, and lo and behold, it is! She and I talked for an hour and a half. Our problem/complaint crossover ratio is about 75%. I felt SO bad for her, and yet reassured in that I didn’t give up. This gal was/is far more qualified than I for that job, and she too is being driven to distraction. She gave notice today. Big high-5 to her!
