January 31st, 2017

I did things like fill the car with gas (so once we hit the mainland, I wouldn’t have to stop), took phone calls, made some stops, and worried. I spent about four hours with mom, leaving her at dinner. She had a good day with lots of friends stopping in. They all knew she was leaving the Island the next day. Mom did not, or at least didn’t remember that this move was in the offing.

Once back at the house I was in micro-mode until going to bed. No stone has yet to need turning since leaving the Island.
