Letter Revealed

On Tuesday, during business hours – after my early AM post, mom approached my daughter in her office to repeat a dozen conversations. Included was the fury regarding her Island doctor’s visit to her in her apartment. My kid, using ‘gentle deception,’ told her grandma that she’d spoken with Dr. G who, as it happens, hasn’t left the Island for months. And further had talked to his medical assistant, who collaborated this information. Mom was taken aback, and said she knew Dr. G had visited her. My daughter suggested that perhaps mom had had a vivid dream, and that sometimes she herself had such realistic dreams that is was difficult to separate dream from reality. Mom, given this opening, segued toward the explanation, particularly with the presentation of  Dr. G’s letter.

I’ve heard nothing further on this topic. Fingers crossed this episode is concluded.
