Pre-Appointment

By the time I talked to mom on Monday, she had found the ophthalmolgist’s card in her purse, called his office, and reported to me that she didn’t need a follow up appointment. I again explained the follow up was with the optometrist… She was effuce with her thanks for keeping her straight, which felt good. I kept the conversation light, and got off the phone before it lagged.

We’ll have lunch after seeing the doctor, and then I have to head north to let the grand-dog out, as my daughter is traveling for work, and her sweetie leaves the house early. This will, hopefully, avoid the uncomfortable conversational loop of returning home. Hopfully.
