May 2018 Island Trip Day 10

The car is loaded to the brim, the plants are watered, dishes done and put away, buildings are locked, check list completed. Once on the mainland I’ll stop at a nursery for the first time, whose owner I’ve met through industry functions, Goodwill, and our local Gospel Mission. Then home, where I’m told my own garden has gone rogue jungle in my absence. The garden… Always willing to give the control freak the opportunity to exercise her craft.
