Settling in?

I was unable to get together with the neighbor directly north of mom’s property while on the Island. We email. Today she let me know that mom stopped asking her (via voice mail) to check in on the house after four voicemail requests, in mid-August. Mom was asking the neighbor to let her know how the house looked, and what furniture remained, after we moved mom’s furniture into her apartment.

This is a good sign. It means mom isn’t necessarily flipping out each time she walks into her apartment, and sees her own possessions that she thinks should be waiting for her on the Island. I hold this in hope rather than a certainty.
