Fall Camping

Tomorrow we head out for our annual fall camping trip at our favorite state park. We’re going for a little longer than usual. As much as I want to settle into staying home, that comes with lots of compulsive ‘must-do’s.’ Camping is about strolls, eating really well, lots of crafting, sleeping without regard for the clock, countering my backgammon loses with gin-rummy wins, enjoying some outdoor games, the campfire, and some singing… A couple of day-trips. It’s lovely us-time. We need it after the last while.
