Post-Transplant

I finally called the hospital at 3PM after they didn’t call me, according to plan… Our friend returned to his room at 1PM, and despite feeling sore, and being sure his (extremely dry) eyes must have been open during the entire surgery, he was doing well. If all goes according to plan I’ll pick him up on Friday the 2nd.

We have no word on our friend, the recipient. I’m hoping for good news tomorrow.
