Periodicals

As mom’s periodicals come up for renewal I’m making some sad choices to let go of a few of the deeply political publications. She can’t hold a conversation about anything remotely political, and has even stopped staying what an asshole the POTUS is (something she did when he was campaigning). She subscribes to a number of ‘lighter’ magazines. I will continue her subscription to the New Yorker, which she’s taken as long as I can remember, as long as it brings her a sense of normalcy and contentment.
