The Band’s Getting Back Together!

When I was 16 a group of guys asked me if I could play bass guitar. I said I could stumble my way around a six string, and that was good enough for them. I played bass with these fellows until I moved off the Island after graduating from high school. Of course, we keep up with each other on Facebook, over three decades later.

A conversation last week, which started with one member asking for photos and recordings, has bloomed into a reunion. We already have at least one place to play, and a place to stay (tho I have multiple options on that front).

We’re starting to look at music and September. It sounds like most of us have remained connected to our rock and roll roots. This ought to be fun!
