Mom had a dental cleaning today. For the first time (round of applause, and deep sigh of relief!!) in years there were no recommendations for additional work. At this moment in time, her mouth is stable. I am thankful, mostly for her, and a small heap for me.
The gal I spoke with at the dental office (she was driven there and back by the community driver) glowed to me about mom. How mom is so sweet, and dear. I’ll write mom’s psychiatric nurse-practitioner a love-note. It’s only in the absence of her anxiety that we, collectively, can have this experience of her. The doc deserves 1000% of the credit for this shift in her demeanor.
Next dental check-up in October!
