Deck, So Far

The deck demo was 100% completed today. I’m still working on carrying the detritus to the truck, and then the dump. At least three, maybe four more loads to go… We’ll need to replace the one piece of siding that the old deck was attached to. Not a big deal.

I am creaky and tired, having picked up 1000 pounds of dead lumber twice, walked it to the truck once (and loaded it over the sides of the truck bed, which comes up to my chin), and thrown it into the landfill once. But it’s a good kinda creaky and tired!
