Elvis

I got serious about finding a new home for Elvis after the New Year. What worked was sending a link to his online profile to rather a lot of local people. As it turned out, my old boss let the owner of the company I used to work for know that Elvis needed a new home. Elvis crashed many a Zoom meeting over the last year, so the owner had met Elvis.

She contacted me last week letting me know she’s been looking for a cat for a while. We had a couple of conversations, and today she and her boyfriend came up to meet him. It was mutual approval on both parties parts, and Elvis went home with them.

While I am a bit melancholy, we couldn’t be happier or more assured that Elvis had a secure and loving home, where he is King Kat.
