June/July 2021 Island Trip – Day 4

I may have my dad’s kiln adopted. No such luck with the boat.

This morning I picked up an electric drier from a friend I’ve known for over 40-years. He helped me unload it and will wire it up when the time comes. After returning him to his wife, I went to town and made the rounds, which included purchasing a 22” self-propelled gas mower to get into the places the big mower can’t. That’s some hard work despite it’s ability to push itself around!

Among other things, I cleaned the counters in the dark room and removed everything from it that I now know no one is going to want, managed to get a few things put away in the main area of the lower barn, and then kept at my sheetrock removal job. At 4PM I clocked out. At 6:30 I head to my eastern neighbor’s for dinner.
