Family Visit

My DH and his mama left today on a 10-day trip to see her best friends from college, and then on to her sister and brother-in-law. This is a trip my mother-in-law (MIL) has wanted to take since travel opened up, and one she used to take annually. My DH and I decided this was a really important trip to facilitate for his mom.

Sequencing has become very difficult for my MIL. After putting all the pieces into place, it became clear why my MIL wasn’t able to gain purchase on making the trip happen on her own, much less the driving part…

I am SO grateful my DH is able to make this trip with her. He has vast memories of both families, particularly is aunt and uncle, and is excited to reconnect and reminisce. 💕
