Mon & Dad’s Mail

It’s a rare day anymore that we get more mail for my folks than for us, but it still happens from time to time. At this point I have the head space to call the organizations still sending mail and ask them to remove my parent’s names from their solicitation lists. My big push to do this while mom was still living independently, using a website built for the purpose, pared the junk mail load down impressively. The mail delivery person on the Island and mainland thanked me! 😂 Now it’s a matter of helping organizations, that were important to mom and dad, stop spending money on postage and letterhead in trying to shore up their membership roles by sending mailings to folks who have left this plain.
