Compromised Credit Card

It’s bad enough that there were almost $8000 of fraudulent charges on one of my credits cards, while it snoozed comfortably in my wallet, but it’s galling to have the bank’ rep flatly tell me she sees that I swiped the card, in person, for one of those charges. Keeping my cool, I told her I hadn’t left the state since March, and have never been to North Carolina to purchase doors. Then at the conclusion of the call she tells me that she can raise my credit limit seeing as how I’ve managed my card so well for 23-years. I know, she’s following a script, and that script needs a tune up so rational, linear thinkers such as myself don’t get hella-irritated 🙄. I declined the increase offer.
