June 2026 Island Trip – Day 3

The mower got a rest today, but the heat gun warmed up!! I removed the original spice rack, and the wall paper behind it. Then, after my DH arrived, we installed the magnetic/stainless steel spice rack from our mainland home. It’s perfect for an Airstream. We don’t use it at our mainland home as the wall it was on turned into a window. It’s almost loaded up!

More carpet exited the coach today. Dang that’s hard work! I get why Airstream carpeted the WHOLE floor and then placed the cabinets, but it sure makes it a struggle to remove the rug you don’t want anymore 😏.

And then my DH pulled the BBQ around for the season and found we had residents:

It’s time for some lamb burgers, roast taters and salad.
