June 2026 Island Trip – Day 9

Had an OK day:

• Headed to town for a short shopping trip, which I didn’t finish after not finding a small simple cutting board at two places, and then not finding a parking place to try the third retail establishment. At that point all I wanted to do was go home 😂.
• Embarked on setting up irrigation at the big garden. A connection needs to be replaced as it’s leaking despite perfect prep. I might have an extra part… I need additional batteries for the valve at the house, vinyl tape for connections, and possibly a connector… All plumbing projects seem to take endless trips to the store. 🙄
• I took a nap!
• Acetone seems to be the solvent to take the adhesive off the trailer walls left by what is commonly called ‘Mouse Fur.’ A win.
• Tim and I had dinner at his place. Good conversations. He was in better spirits than Saturday.

And now to bed 😴.
