AI Hallucinations

I chose 10 of my mom’s poems and created a booklet for a celebration of life memento for guests. My DH wanted me to check and make sure mom had actually written one of the poems as it was so different from the rest in its mood. This morning I set about to do that.

I took the first stanza and popped into Google. AI came back with a hit! An author and a title. I took this author and title, popped it back into Google and got nothing 🧐. Next was to repeat the exercise with the entire poem. AI did the same thing, but with a different title and a different author. Again, I took those result, asked Google for some results and nada!!

Thank you AI, not 🙄. I’m glad to know my mama wrote the poem (I was sure as it’s totally her voice and humor), and very entertained to have spoofed AI!!! Mom would be entertained to 😏.
