September 2026 Island Trip – Day 10

We’re off to Tim’s for dinner in an hour. I’m bringing a Korean-ish chicken dish that includes sweet potato noodles to make there along with olives and a melon and apple salad. We’re still going through goodies leftover from Saturday… It’ll be a good meal even its pieces are scrappy when siting side-by-side.

I ended up going to town twice 🙄. In part because I left a tiny 12-volt bulb behind the first time, and by the time I returned from that trip, other items hit the list. After that excitement, I stained 100’ of base trim for Stella now that the new floor is in. It took five tests patches to get the color to match well enough. In a 27-year old travel trailer an exact color match is not expected… Tomorrow I start applying a sealer to the trim. I need to add, ‘remove wall paper from walls where trim is going to go…’ 🧐 One project begets another 😏.
